Why We Exist
Bringing Rama VI back to the National Stage
Siam Repertory Theatre Company exists to bring to the stage, all twenty of H.M. King Rama VI's English-language plays. Most have never been performed professionally at all — not once, in over a hundred years. Delivering them, over the coming years, means pairing home-grown Thai talent with international performers and theatre makers from around the world. To carry this work forward properly by rolling out regular seasons, this company will tour international schools in Thailand as well as providing top tier performances throughout the year for the public.
